DAY 1  -  ARRIVAL SANTIAGO DE  CHILE

Arrival in Santiago de Chile. Reception at the airport and transfer to The Aubrey Hotel, located in Las Condes district. Our staff will welcome the group and will supervise the check in procedure.

THE AUBREY is truly an urban retreat that lets one escape from the buzz of the city. It is a transformed space with 15 beautifully appointed en-suite bedrooms, each with a unique character and most with balconies and terraces. After check in, transfer to Casablanca Valley, to visit Matetic Winery.

CASABLANCA VALLEY was first planted to vine in the mid-1980s, today is one of the fastest growing areas for viticulture in Chile, especially for Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. The Matetic vineyards winery, designed by the Matetic team in cooperation with architect Lawrence Odfjell, is a state-of-the-art winemaking facility, constructed so as to complement its glorious setting. Guest will visit the winery enjoying a wine tasting. Lunch will be served in Equilibrio Restaurant at the winery. After lunch, our group will return to Santiago.

We have the possibility to take a special Santiago city tour. Santiago is a vibrant city in its urban geography, surrounded by picturesquely traditional neighborhoods and full of modern buildings of futuristic architecture.

The tour begins with a visit to the civic center of Santiago, visiting the Moneda Government Palace and the Constitution Square. Continuation to the Stock Exchange Commerce, Municipal Theatre, Justice Palace and Foreign Office, ex Parliament.  Next, short walk to the Main Square, characterized for its historical buildings and popular life. Observation of the Santiago Municipality, ex prison, National Historical Museum, Central Post Office, the Santiago Firemen Building and the Metropolitan Cathedral. Transfer to the Paris-Londres neighborhood to see the architecture from 1922-1925 and the San Francisco Church and Monastery (1618) and to Concha y Toro neighborhood.

After the city tour, dinner in a very typical place, Doña Tina Restaurant, offering hearty, rustic specialties that are considered true Chilean cooking. Doña Tina the owner is a 68-year-old powerhouse, who started her career 40 years ago selling homemade bread from a basket along the highway.

After dinner, return to the hotel.  

 

DAY 2  -  FROM SANTIAGO TO COLCHAGUA VALLEY 

Our experience begins at 08:15 hrs, travelling to Almaviva Winery (Maipo Valley). The tour begins at 09:30 hrs.

MAIPO VALLEY the most traditional and the one of greater qualities for the elaboration of premium wines in Chile.

Visit Alamaviva, which is an innovative winery that combines modern architecture with functionality.

After visiting Aamaviva continue to Colchagua Valley, which is located approximately 150 kms south of Santiago, is truly blessed when it comes to producing red wines. Colchagua is a narrow agricultural valley that begins at the foot of the Andes and extends west to the Pacific Ocean.

We will have lunch at the restaurant of Casa Silva Winery, which an entirely Chilean and family-run company. After lunch, we continue our stay in Colchagua, visiting Viu Manent Winery.  Welcome with a delicious cocktail.

Check in at TerraViña Hotel. With the Andes Mountains as background, Hotel TerraViña introduces a new lodging concept in Chile: accommodations in a beautiful environment, an old family winery and excellent food – all in the same vineyard.

Dinner will be held this night at Panpan Vinovino Restaurant, located in the surroundings.  

DAY 3  -  COLCHAGUA VALLEY 

Transfer to Viu Manent Winery. The winery was founded more than 70 years ago, and their house specialty is malbec, a wine normally associated with Argentina. Beyond wine tasting, guest can take a leisurely ride in a horse-drawn carriage, or rent one of their bicycles for a ride through the vineyards, finishing off with a gourmet lunch in their colonial courtyard. Guest will have at the winery, in the charming company of children of a rural school that will accompany us with traditional songs and dances.

After lunch, transfer to visit two incredible wineries at Apalta Valley. The slopes of Apalta in Colchagua have a half-moon shape, with a unique micro-climate, defined by the mountains and Tinguiririca river.

CASA LAPOSTOLLE Here we will find one of the finest boutique hotels in the country: Casa Lapostolle, belonging to the same name vineyard.  A wine tasting after the tour at this winery.

After that, we will visit Montes Winery. Wine tasting after the tour.

Dinner at Vino Bello Restaurant, located by the TerraViña Hotel. Vino Bello is a restaurant specializing in Italian food with an American Mediterranean touch where food lovers can enjoy the innovative Italian dishes along with the outstanding wines from the Colchagua Valley.  

DAY 4  -  FROM SANTIAGO TO TEMUCO 

At the agreed time transfer from Colchagua Valley to the Santiago Airport. At the arrival to the airport in Santiago, snack at a cafeteria before our guests take the next flight to Temuco (Flight time 1 hour 30 minutes). 

Arrival at Temuco airport and transfer to Villarrica. Check in at Villarrica Park Lake Hotel. Elegant and deluxe hotel located by the Villarrica Lake. Superior rooms with private terrace and lake view.  Welcome cocktail will be served at the Bar Vertigo. Lunch will be served at Aguas Verdes Restaurant in the hotel.

Afternoon excursion to be selected on spot among a city tour of Pucon, Paintball Circuit or Huife Hotsprings.

Dinner will be served at Aguas Verdes Restaurant at the hotel.  

DAY 5  -  TEMUCO 

Full day excursion, leaving the hotel at 07:00 hrs began with a rising trekking to the crater of Villarrica Volcano with spectacular views overlooking the valley, rivers, lakes and volcanoes cha in. (Includes expert mountain guide, all equipment, insurance, entrance fee and lunch box).

Return to the hotel. Dinner will be served at Senzo Restaurant in Pucon city.  

DAY 6  -  FROM TEMUCO TO SANTIAGO 

After breakfast, enjoy the wonderful surroundings by taking a Horseback Riding El Claro area, all equipments are provided, gentle horse riding through paths and passing clear streams on the way. 

Lunch at the hotel Restaurant. At agreed time, transfer from Villarrica to Temuco Airport, to take the next flight back to Santiago. 

Arrival at Santiago and transfer to The Aubrey Hotel. Check in at the hotel. Evening transfer towards the uptown area for a farewell dinner at Mestizo Restaurant. 

MESTIZO RESTAURANT Located in the northern sector of Vitacura Bicentennial Park in front of the artificial lake, a place not only for its avant-garde cuisine, but for the architectural design and natural surroundings.   

DAY 7  -  SANTIAGO / UNITED STATES 

Lastarria Neighbourhood Visit (many design shops to visit), nice area in the downtown with antique stores, cafes and beautiful old houses. 

Village Shopping Tour Los Dominicos, where there are assorted artisans displaying and selling their works. 

Lunch on passengers own. In due time, transfer to the airport to take the next flight to return to your country.
